SUBJECT TUTORING AND TEST PREP

Hello! My name is Will and I offer tutoring in math and English. I graduated with honors from UF in philosophy and political science, and am currently completing a post baccalaureate in computer science. I have thousands of hours of experience tutoring and have worked with all levels of students in both math and English.

I take an individualized, inquiry-based approach in my tutoring, assessing students for their level of understanding and challenging them to maintain progress between sessions. My tutoring is adaptive to different learning styles, and I enjoy explaining concepts from multiple angles to ensure my students have a robust understanding of what they are studying. All lessons are planned and custom-tailored to meet individual needs.

Our tutoring will take place via screen-share from my tablet through Onenote, and students will receive PDF’s of my completed work.

Subject tutoring: $35/hour. Exam review, homework help, and customized focus on filling conceptual gaps.

Math: K-8 math, algebra 1-2, geometry, trigonometry/precalculus, calculus AB/BC, calculus 1-3, and linear algebra.

English: K-8 English, high school English, AP language, AP literature, college writing courses, and essay help.

Test preparation: SAT, ACT, GRE; $45/hour. Each hour purchased includes 10 written explanations of practice problems you send.

Problem explanations: $5 for 5 questions (math) or $5/passage (English, including corresponding questions). I will do individual practice problems for you, with justified steps; all I require are pictures of the individual problems.
